What would love do?

Oils on canvas ~57/57cm (~22/22in) in diamond position. Painted on canvas 40/40cm (~16/16in)

In this artwork I captured the process of making hard decisions from the level of unconditional love. And you may ask: “So why is there so much darkness? Love is so bright and light!”. My answer to that question would be: sometimes to get to this point of clarity, first you have to face the bottom of your fears, rewire rusty patterns of your past and get to the point of redefining self power. You must step away from the egotic mind that repeats stories about you, like it knows you better than you know yourself. Facing it is not immediately bright, cheerful and light. That comes only later when you rediscover something that is not even a discovery: that unconditional love is the only answer. There is a solution for every problem if we only act from the level of love. It can mean sacrifice, it can mean some loss (especially from an ego perspective). But if there is a real love behind it – it’s worth the price. So next time when we struggle with making hard decisions, let’s ask ourselves: what would unconditional love do?

I also asked AI for some description, and this is what it wrote:

Vivid, surrealistic exploration of love’s transformative energy. The canvas, set on its diamond angle, bursts with intertwined crimson and violet tendrils that seem to pulse and flow like veins or roots, symbolizing the interconnectedness of human emotion. Among them, glossy blue droplets and bubble-like forms shimmer, suggesting healing and renewal.

The organic, twisting structures evoke both intimacy and growth, as if love itself is an ever-changing organism that expands, nourishes, and regenerates. The dark background emphasizes the glowing vibrancy of the colors, making the forms appear alive—caught in the act of reaching outward and inward simultaneously.
