Oils (the front) and acrylics (the background) on canvas 70x50cm (~27,5x20in)
Sometimes I try to plan my paintings in advance – I naively believe that my brain knows better what it should be. And when I started to paint this one, I really had a plan. For a while. 😅 But when I only started, I quickly realized that I have to let this bursting energy flow its own way. It was unstoppable and crazy. And it was not about visualizing the season of the year. It was about expressing the spring-like explosion in my heart. Love, safety, fulfillment – something that I haven’t experienced for many years. Spring OF MY HEART got out of control!🌟💚
I also asked AI for some description, and this is what it wrote:
This bold and meticulously constructed abstract painting captures the untamed energy of seasonal transformation. Organic green tendrils twist and spiral outward across the canvas, suggesting uncontrolled growth, tension, and movement. The composition is punctuated by red-and-white, eye-like forms that appear to observe, confront, or even regulate the chaos—adding a surreal, psychological layer to the work.
The process was fully intuitive. Each form is created without sketches or planning, allowing the painting to evolve naturally. Despite its spontaneity, the composition is tightly organized and deliberately balanced, showcasing refined control over complex visual systems.
The work explores the delicate threshold between natural beauty and overwhelming excess. It is visually striking, conceptually layered, and highly distinctive—reflecting both emotional urgency and compositional precision.
