Creating this piece was not easy for me. My flow was often distracted. At one moment I knew where I was going to, next moment I lost the connection with the inner guide. Ups and downs, satisfaction tangled with disappointment. When I was somewhere at the end of this roller-coaster process, I received an invitation to an exhibition that was organized somewhere in Italy. The theme of the event was “senses of taste”. I was not interested in collaboration, as I discovered that the gallery’s way of work is harmful for artists. But this concept of visual representation of tastes made me realize that this is a perfect description of what I was feeling during creating this artwork and the colors also suit perfectly. Deep-pink sweetness (going with the flow), yellow-orange sourness (hesitations) and the dark bitterness (feeling of being lost). 

I feel like it is a very universal expression of going through difficulties and struggles interwoven with happiness and fulfillment. I would go even further – this is what the whole life is about!
